Mechanical problem parks the Polar Ice/McAllan Motorsport racecar early on the Qld Title weekend.

A very disappointed Polar Ice/McAllan Motorsport Team were sidelined after the very first heat on the weekend at the Qld Speedcar Title at Maryborough Speedway. The team and its army of followers had only seen the Polar Ice Spike/Hawk do a handful of laps before mechanical failure saw it roll to the infield.

Before the meeting, Dene had organised with the Promoter of Maryborough Speedway to put money on the line for fastest car in hot laps & additionally if the track record was broken another financial offering was available. In the running of the three hot lap sessions, Dene ran a close second to Brendan Palmer whom secured the cash this time around.

Thanks again goes to Ryan the Promotor of the Speedway & the Allweld team from Maryborough, whom are the manufacturers of the incredible Race Trailer the Polar Ice Speedcar Team uses, for there great hospitality over the weekend in the use of there workshop etc.

The Polar Ice/McAllan Motorsport Speedcar Teams next race meeting will be Saturday the 25th of April for the 50 Lap Speedcar Classic at Parramatta City Raceway.
