Dene McAllan wins West Australian Speedcar Title.

 

The Polar Ice/McAllan Motorsport Speedcar Team are still celebrating after winning the 61st running of the prestigious West Australian Speedcar Title at Perth's Motorplex on Saturday night. Dene put on a flawless drive to win both his heats and final in the #21 Mac/Hawk combination. In the final though he did not have it his own way as Scott Glazebrook pressured Dene for position & the lead swapped between them until unluckily for Scott he punctured a tyre on a piece of debris laying on the track. Unchallenged for the remaining laps Dene secured the win from Keith Giles & Tom Watson Snr placing his second West Australian Title Trophy on the mantle piece.        

 

The Polar Ice/McAllan Motorsport Speedcar Teams next race meeting will be this Saturday night the 21st of March at Archerfield's Brisbane International Speedway for the Danny Davidson Memorial.
